Don Hong-Oai (1929-2004) was a world renowned photographer. Born in China in 1929, he immigrated to the United States in 1979, ultimately settling in the San Francisco region. His incorporated a unique technique for creating many of his photographs that involved the layering of negatives to create unusual moods and emphasis. Unlike many photographers, every aspect of his work was handled personally. These are two beautiful photographs by the photographer Don Hong Oai. The first shows a man on a raft framed by the sunset reflecting off of the water. This photograph is 7" x 9", matted and framed, with frame measuring 11" x 14". The second shows women working in the rice patties. It is matted, but not framed, with an image of 3.5" x 5". These works are offered collectively for $1250, or separately for $1000 (for the larger one) and $400 respectively.
